Description & Building Alterations
This Renaissance Revival six-story tenement was constructed in 1898. It is located in the East Village/Lower East Side Historic District and has both stone and brick work on its main facade.
The present facade features some of the original decorations including significant features like a galvanized-iron cornice, molded spring lintels, spring blocks and stone moldings on the round-arched windows at the fifth-story, decorative brick courses among others.
