Description & Building Alterations

This five-story Italianate tenement building replaced an earlier 3 story building and was designed by Charles Wright. The building has simple segmental arched lintels likely made of cast iron. The storefront is not original and the cornice has been replaced with a simple brick ornamental parapet after it was removed. It was built along with its neighbors at 127 & 131 Avenue C.

What is the Building Blocks Project
